The figure captures Kaede with a resolute and determined expression, reflecting her refusal to surrender to the cruel circumstances surrounding the killing game. Her dynamic pose and outstretched hand give the composition a strong sense of movement and emotional intensity.

Design Highlights

Determined Expression

Kaede is presented with a strong, resolute expression, featuring a focused gaze and slightly furrowed brows. Her outstretched hand adds further dynamism to the pose and reflects her determination to lead her classmates toward hope.

Ultimate Pianist Uniform

Her Ultimate Academy school uniform is carefully recreated, including her recognizable musical staff hair clips and the musical-note pattern along the hem of her pleated skirt.

These musical details reinforce Kaedes identity as the Ultimate Pianist.

Floating Sheet Music

Several sheets of music are arranged around Kaede, creating a suspended, dynamic effect as though they have been scattered into the air from her bag.

The miniature sheet music also references Claude Debussys Clair de Lune, adding an additional musical detail for fans familiar with Kaedes story.

Oversized Piano Key Base

The display base incorporates a series of large black-and-white piano keys, transforming the musical theme into a dramatic stage-like environment.

The unusual arrangement gives the impression of Kaede moving across a giant piano while adding strong visual depth to the composition.

Monokuma and Execution Theme

Monokuma appears on the right side of the composition wearing a tuxedo and holding a conductors baton. His presence creates an intentionally unsettling contrast with Kaedes determined expression.

The design references Kaedes tragic execution sequence, Der Flohwalzer (The Flea Waltz), connecting the figures musical theme directly to one of the games most memorable scenes.

Thorny Vines and Withered Roses

The base is surrounded by dark thorny vines and deep red withered roses. The combination of elegant floral imagery and sharp, decaying elements reinforces the contrast between hope, beauty, and the cruel atmosphere of the killing game.
